Taiyaki and tea
When a decorator selects pieces to include in an interior, they make objects communicate
with each other, and then with the space. Each object has their own story, and they come
together: this creates an ensemble.
With UNI Habitat, we create the ensemble, from all pieces.
The purpose and use of a place influence reflection on the space, and it is our duty to come
up with an apt response to this. Volumes first and foremost, then colour and materials, to
create the details of a subtle, well-considered composition.
We thrive on our aim of offering power and serenity due to the fact that there is only one
thing to look at: the ensemble.
Taiyaki and tea
For this traditional Taiwanese tea shop we wanted to find the right balance between Asian
architectural influence and the minimalist pop atmosphere of today.
Between precise lines, monochrome swaths and gentle curves, the natural beauty of Kyoto red
and northern pine is showcased at its very best.
